Why Use WMG

Although homeowners are legally allowed to contact their borrower and ask for forgiveness or new loan terms, they are always at a disadvantage when working directly with their lender. The homeowner’s interests are directly in conflict with the Lender’s interests and someone will have to lose (usually the homeowner).

Using WMG as an arbitrating third party is vital because we create a neutral environment with both party’s best interests in mind. Our staff has decades of combined experience in mortgage finance and we are always refining our relationships with lenders so that we know their tolerances and objectives. We know what servicers want and how to make the strongest case possible. This allows us to be neutral, create a transparent case for loan/lien modification, and mediate a fair and balanced resolution where everyone wins.
